“Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them.” – Lemony Snicket

Adventurer at Heart
Living in a different country than the one I grew up in has ignited a fire inside of me. (That Hobbiton Hotel is in San Luis Potosí!) It is not enough to simply read about some places. I have to see them with my own eyes. Mexico is a country I have spent the better part of a decade exploring and it never gets old.
Love of Creatures
Besides being an obnoxious chihuahua owner, I spend an inordinate amount of time looking at mythical creatures from many cultures. Of course dragons are included, but don’t be surprised if I throw in a lyngbakur, or something of my own creation. (Side-eye-glance to the Murocs)
Fueled by Equality
My novels place a high value on women, but at the end, one of the most important themes is learning to recognize and dismantle systems that do not provide healthy lifestyles for its citizens.
